My baby is sick.....

Maybe it was the 13 hour shift at his work that weakened his immune system so dramatically (*cough* WORKAHOLIC *cough*). Goodness, I hope I don't get sick before I finish my Spanish and English AP exams. That would really suck.

Prom Adventures-

My hair wasn't as genius as it was for Winter Formal, but that's ok. It still looked pretty.

The lady doing my nails cut my cuticles too deep in a few spots, so I had two nails rimmed with blood. Ew. Don't ever go to Tippy Nails near Music Maker in Anaheim.

About 60% of a formal school dance is the part where the parents say, "Ohhhhh.....you look so pretty/handsome! Let's take 50 million shots of you in every way conceivable!" Eh. That's ok, because I like to look at the pictures later even if I'm mad that they take so long.

The socializing part was fun. It seemed like just about everybody I knew was at the dance. Poor Jerry didn't know many people at all, since it was my dance, not his.

Dancing with Jerrick was great. What the boy lacks in rhythm, he makes up in creativity. He said, "It's so great dancing with somebody that won't get embarrassed with what I do." I felt the same way, actually. I was surprisingly uninhibited. He dipped me down to the floor, kissed me, and swung me back up many times. Lots of crazy, dorky dancing. It was awesome.

My Knowlwoods slavey is going to be behind the counter in less than an hour. He enjoys working hard, he says. I find that admirable. The kind of work I do at Camelot can hardly be classified as "hard work", but I ditch it as much as I can. It drives me nuts.

I'm going to search for a new job after I turn 18 on the 14th of this month. That's in a little less than two weeks. But I'm still considering working at Camelot over the summer because it would be convenient to have the same shifts as Matt. Hmmmm.....much pondering.

Ok, so I'm a bit of a braggart when it comes to how wonderful my boyfriend is. If you are a cynical person who is sickened easily, I suggest you don't read this. If you're one of those, "Awwwww! How cute!" people, go right ahead. This boy has transformed me into one of the latter, by the way. I used to be the former.

March 25, 2:23 am

Text message from Jerrick:

“Hey babe, well I’m about to go to bed, but I wanted to let you know that as the days pass by I find myself loving you more and more. Every time I see you, I want to hold you longer and longer. Every time I say goodbye, I miss you more and more. Every time I see you smile, I smile bigger and bigger. But all and all I simply LOVE you. Well, I guess you can consider that my poem to you. I love you babe, talk to you later.”

Now, tell me: what girl wouldn't be absolutely swept off her feet? Wow....go back to one of my August entries and see what a little wretch I was then. I shouldn't have been crying about a horny little scheisskopf when there are boys like Jerry about.

And they're out there, girls. But just remember that looking for them doesn't work. They just sort of get plopped into your life without asking.

I am supremely happy.

And for you cynical people: may the dry-retching ensue. I'm not taking part.

*Edit*

I got accepted to UC Irvine. I found out with the letter today. I'm pretty sure I'm going to go there. My parents are really happy that I've been accepted to 4 UC's (all that I've applied to): Riverside, Santa Barbara, Santa Cruz, and Irvine. How happy am I? Hmmm....let's just say I thought I wasn't going to get into anything but Cal State Fullerton.

Where did my duckies go? I'm waiting to see if the host website for the pic comes back up. If not, no more duckies.

I went to school this morning with a sign on my tummy that said, "Will fiddle on request". Mr. Domene, the superintendent, caught me fiddling at break and dragged me into the office. He rounded up everybody of importance and had me play for them. During my language arts class, I received a thank you letter that was signed by everybody who had listened.

I still can't believe I played for nearly the entire El Dorado staff......hahahahaha.....I must seem like such a suck-up.

I just really like to see people enjoying what I play.

I'm sick and I also find it quite ironic that I'm spitting up green on St. Patrick's Day.

I think I'm too sick to go the winter camp that I was supposed to go to with Calvary Chapel East Anaheim. Poor Jerry's gonna be disappointed.....and I'm really disappointed too. I wanted to make new friends at that church. Let's see if I feel any better by tomorrow.

I feel a little swept away....

and very confused.

But I thank God for blessing me with a guy who cares so much.

But at the same time, I feel that it adds more to deal with to my life, and thus, more stress.

I feel bad because I admitted this to him.

He thought I was breaking up with him at first.

"No, goodness, I'm not breaking up with you- I'd have to have a really good reason for that."

He's so dear and I love him.

God, please help me to learn how to balance things and not lose my head. Give me your peace and your grace to deal with these extra burdens (even if they are very happy ones). Help me to keep everything balanced and appropriate. Help me to do your will and stay obedient to my parents even if I think it's lame. Keep me from being stubborn for no good reason so I can turn that determination to positive things.

Learning isn't easy.

My dad came up with yet another theory.

"I think females have some sort of secret toilet paper burning ritual. You and mom must go out in the dead of night and dance around a flaming pile of the stuff. It just disappears too quickly for any other explanation."

"Dad....you know we use the toilet paper up so fast just because we have to use some every time we go. You don't have to."

"I know, but...."

"No, Dad."

Went to the 99 cent store today with Kat. Under her influence, I bought a pair of Snow White panties and a pair of "Satan's panties" (red ones, lol).

Hmmmm....I figure I might as well tell all of you what happened on Saturday night......

I was taking Jerrick home a little past curfew

and

I was stopped by a cop. (EEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!)

It was because I hadn't signalled when turning left, but he probably had other motives. He asked to see my driver's license and registration and he asked to see Jerrick's ID. He told me to remember to signal in the future and left.

I very nearly peed my pants. But......

NO TICKET!!!!!

I stayed at Jerrick's house till 1:30 because I was too freaked out to drive. I had also left my cell phone at home to charge because I figured that I wouldn't be needing it.

My parents thought that I was splattered on Imperial Highway.

Thus, I was kept from seeing my beloved today. Hopefully I can see him on Wednesday, as planned.

Urghhhh....I'm never driving past curfew again......

But you should definitely ask to see my Snow White panties. I might give you a peek if I think you deserve it.

I'm in deep doo-doo. And that's really all I can say right now. As a consequence, I don't think my parents are going to let me see my Jerry for a week. And that will suck if they follow through on it. It would be very, very bad because it would be my fault. Grrrr.....

Yesterday was my first day at Camelot. I'm tired. I'm working again today, but first it's to bed for a nap and then to the kitchen for attempted pennance.

Is mopping, doing dishes, tidying the living room and den, doing the trash, and emptying the catbox enough for pennance? I hope so.

edit:

I turned out to be just too bone tired to do all that stuff. I'll do it tomorrow....Camelot tends to sap my life away.

Spanish comes in handy at that place. Very handy. I also get to learn how normal people, not Spanish teachers or students, speak Spanish. Weird. It kind of shocks people a bit, too, when I say something in Spanish.

The following dialogue took place this morning. McKinnell is my orchestra conductor:

Me: Mr. Mckinnell, what do I do if my violin hickey gets infected?

McKinnell: Well, first you stop touching it.

Me: Oh.... (I yank my hand away from absent-mindedly fondling my neck)

McKinnel: And my violinist friends tell me that rubbing alcohol and a band-aid help. So don't let it irritate you any more, cover it up.

Ugh.....I had to stick one of Kristine's band-aids on my neck this morning. Usually my hickey is just a little pink oval under my left jaw, but now it's turned into this painful, pimple-type thing. Like I said: disgusting.

I think I can be accurately diagnosed with Fiddler's Neck. I wonder if Megan's ever gotten Flautist's Chin......

Being a musician is friggin' weird sometimes.

I get to drag Jerrick with me to buy a few pairs of black pants for work. I'm a huntress when it comes to shopping and he's patient, so it's all good. I tend not to flutter from store to store admiring stuff. I'm sort of manly that way.

"Reading Scheme"

by Wendy Cope

Here is Peter. Here is Jane. They like fun.

Jane has a big doll. Peter has a ball.

Look, Jane, look! Look at the dog! See him run!

Here is Mummy. She has baked a bun.

Here is the milkman. He has come to call.

Here is Peter. Here is Jane. They like fun.

Go Peter! Go Jane! Come, milkman, come!

The milkman likes Mummy. She likes them all.

Look, Jane, look! Look at the dog! See him run!

Here are the curtains. They shut out the sun.

Let us peep! On tiptoe Jane! You are small!

Here is Peter. Here is Jane. They like fun.

I hear a car, Jane. The milkman looks glum.

Here is Daddy in his car. Daddy is tall.

Look, Jane, look! Look at the dog! See him run!

Daddy looks very cross. Has he a gun?

Up milkman! Up milkman! Over the wall!

Here is Peter. Here is Jane. They like fun.

Look, Jane, look! Look at the dog! See him run!

*****

Yesssss.....hilarious. That's the kind of poetry I like. None of that "Shall I compare thee to a summer's day" stuff (although it has its place). I have to write a villanelle in a week and I have no idea what to write about. Any suggestions? I didn't think repeating the line "Manicures and pedicures are what Vietnamese women were made for" would be very appropriate, although it would create quite a stir. And I love stirs.

Today, I was pretty tired from this weekend. There was a test in math, but it mostly consisted of histograms and other really easy stuff. I think I got a B on it at least.

As I put the test in the correct slot, I noticed that Mrs. Gardiner had separated the test versions by labeling them "Glee", "Mirth", "Thrill", and "Delight". Using those words in the same breath as "math" is scandalous.

I would totally name those tests "Doldrums", "Tedious", "Root Canal", and "Hamsters". Those would fit a lot better.

I tried to take a nap when I got home. As soon as I drifted off while holding Morris the bear, the workers outside decided it would be the perfect time to smash concrete in the backyard. Hum. I think that nap should be attempted again.

ARRRGH. The December birthday stress is getting to me, lol.... Stupid people, why couldn't you have been born some other time? Instead of packed together all at the same time? Spead out a little.... ;_;

Anyways, here's to yet another craptacular day in the life of me. ^^;

Yeeeeah....

Made an awesome pic in art, I'm probably going to use it for something.... And I can't figure out where to put the ear on the polar bear, it won't fit on it's head... I probably should've sketched it out first, but that would've killed it.... ^^;

The Adam jerk sat with Zena today, and if Zena wants to ditch me, that's fine, apparently I don't "deserve" an alien... But he's just an ass and not "deserving" of any heed, himself. -_-

Lunch was funny, something about sweat? And Bahamut = Batman, that gives me an idea... 7_7

Self defense I was supposed to write something I like about self defense class... the thing is, I really don't like much about it, especially in third period... ^^;

World history was funny, though. Mr. Ourednick was going on about planned parenthood, or atleast he was originally...

-Let's say I'd bring in as a guest a Grand Wizard...

- -_7 ~?

-From the KKK.

- -_-

Then I'm home, and, umm.... that happened.... Oh dear glod I am sad.... ^^;

And I might be getting a digital camera soon which means an account on Elfwood, so happy. ^^

More later, because I am bored. *As you can see.*

ARRGGH. Really, why most those kids blast their obnoxious bassy rap music so loud on the road? Headaches it gives me, shut it off they must....

Let's keep this short. *Shuurrre..... 7_7*

My day thus far *as if it's not over the minute I wake up. ::cough cough::*

We were in the theater, again, and I was barely awake... My ears are all clogged today, as if I can hear as it is... ^^; I finished my picture, Mr. Strenk came in with his usuall "Niiice. ::thumbs up:: I LIKE that. Keep going with it." gig he has... The theater people were annoying and loud... Like, we would sit there, trying to draw, and they'd start yelling:

"Hey ANGELA can I invite *name* to your PARTY? Huh Huh HUH? Can I ?HUH? REALLY? AWESOME d00d! OMG like I CAN'T DRAW FOR SHIT! And THAT'S why we're in THEATER and not ART! XP

And THAT'S why we're in THEATER and not ART! XP

And THAT'S why we're in THEATER and not ART! XP

::screechy::

JiNgLe BeLl, JiNgLe BeLl, JiNgLe BeLl ROCK-uh.

OH YEAH! Bell! That's what my PICTURE looks like OMG OMG! SEEEEEEEEE? ::waves picture in everyone's face.::

AHAHAHAHAH YEEEAH OMG ANGELA there's a BEAST behind you wait no that's only in my PICTURE AHAHAHAHAHAH we're FUNNY OMG LIKE WHOA! XD

::break into song yet again::"

Mr. Strenk: ::fixes a lightbulb::

Theater kids: BLINDED BY THE LIIIIIIIGHT..............

'Twas annoying...

I'm thinking of starting over on what I'm doing in ceramics and making something else... The thing is I have no clue what to make beccause I have no idea what these people want... Damn December... - -;

Tomorow's Zena's party, happy birthday, Zena. *Who has too much of a life.*

Speaking of Zena, Lunch was funny, Amy was like "NOOO, MUST DESTROY EVIL PINEAPPLE," which made me laugh, seeing as she brought in her coloring book to draw from.... XP

Oh yeah, and still not finished with the one thing I'm entering for the b&w proj tomorow, at 8 o clock in the morning, and I've been "working on it" this whole weekend, how sad is that? ^_^;;;;;;;;

Yeah....

So then there was the rest of the day, and then i thought a whole lot, the regular daydreaming and reminiscing to survive the daily grind, I hate third period, I can tell Aschenbrenner doesn't like me too much, but that's because I suck at her class... ;_;

Went home and looked for some FFX-2 hints for this Evrae guy I'm on, and I stumble upon "Geek forums"... Then it turns out what I was looking for no longer exists, but I stumble on another thing there, this site by some whack trying to convert the furry community to Christianity, this guy had serious issues... Like this part where he goes into commitiing suicide and his experiences in a psychiatric ward... And then his 'o wise and wighty annalysis on vampires, it's hillarious... If you want to see it, it's molatar.com, but it's so bizarre it was taken off the web, so you'll have to rummage google's cached copies of it, but it's worth the laugh. ^^

Anyone beat precepts guard yet? And before I delve into battle with it, is it a smart idea to use Rikku's spds? Cuz I'm too lazy to try and fail... ^^;

Going now, bye.

Oh shit.

Today is November 30th.

Which means....

Tomorow starts DECEMBER......

WHY must it start December? I mean, come on it was JUST September... REALLY....

December is evil it tell you.... 7_7

A vast majority of the people I associate with have birthdays in December. I don't even think I know alot of people's birthdays, and still there are a bunch in December. Early December to boot. Plus Hannukah is in early December this year as well *The eighth, I think?*. And then there's Christmas, but atleast I get a break then, but geez, Sara is going to be busy, cuz I gotta make/buy stuff for everyone, which is fun and I want to, but it's overloading, especially when packed into the same part of the year, like the same few weeks.... Urrgh... =-=

Still yet to play Orphen. It better be good, considering I only paid 4.99 for it, and it's probably all glitched up.... FF X-2 is good so far, the graphics are neat too, especially compared to it's predecessor, where the people would just suddenly appear to be facing the other way, and make no facial expressions at all... I mean come on, they didn't even have teeth. this one's cool though, and the gameplays neat too, like when Brother was frostbittenyou could step on him and he would cry out.... Which took up a few very entertaining minutes of my day yesterday. ^^

Anyway, the thing for the b&w project is almost done, and now we have a free project in ceramics, so I'm gonna work on some stuff in there... And there was some play tonight I think? But I'm not going to go I don't think. Maybe the Tempest, that's the next one, right? *Out of the loop.*

Here's to a loooong month....

I am proud to announce that I am BACK ON GAIA! Finally...^^; This is great, I haven't been able to get on in around a year? I had an account I started ages ago, and then my comp got all fucked up and I had to reset my aol, and in turn, e-mail, but then it wanted me to re-send the activation e-mail, which it wasn't sending me. I tried again and eventually tried making another account, but it wouldn't work... And I felt bad because I kinda just disappeared on everyone. ^^; But now I'm back, I <3 my sick days. ^^ Sure I'm back in rags and haven't spoken a word yet, but I'm so happy, I've waited a long time and FINALLY it works.

The cramps of doom are UPON US..... T_T [29 Nov 2004|12:52pm]
[ mood | entertained ]

Went to Gamestop and got FF X-2. Finally. I haven't gotten out to there in a while, and since I usually wait for games I like to go into the used section, I'm pretty behind. ^^; Been mostly playing that today, since I'm home sick.... So far it's good, I haven't gotten anywhere far yet, but it's fun... There are some parts where you have to just roll your eyes and put down the controller the lines are so cheezy, but it's fun to laugh at. ^^;

Yuna: ::falls off a cliff::
Paine/Rikku: AH! ::catch Yuna before she falls, as she dangles ver the cliff::
Brother: Ah! Hello? How is everything over there?!
Riku: Disasteriffic!

Rikku for some reason reminds me of that one powerpuff girl with blonde hair. XP Paine's cool though. The game is kind of weird, but it's nice thet you have access to the entire world map immediately, since you've already been there in X. This is basicly a fantasy rpg gone 60s/70's retro/Charlies Angels/Powerpuff Girls.

Oh yeah, and got Orphen: Scion of Sorcery. I think it's old, and I've never bothered to watch the series, but it was $4.99, *yes, $4.99, kids.* so I couldn't pass that up. ^^

Anyways, the rest of my break was fun, we ditched Chelsea after she made us wait in Roberta's driveway for 20 odd minutes, Uncle Bruce was pissed. 0_o The ride was fun *though kind of dangerous*, with mom goig on and off the road, she hadn't slept much the previous night because she caught my/whoever-gave-me-this-damn-cold's *methinks Dad's ::shudders:: * cold. And she started with those damn speeding ticket jokes.... -_-;

It's ok we love Mommit. ^^

We also love Lucy *no pun intended*, who was sad when we left, as was Maddie. ;_;

Anyway, more later, since I should really be working on that project that was due today anyways. ^^;

[27 Nov 2004|12:27pm]
[ mood | bored ]

Saw this on some chain letter site I stumbled upon, so here goes.

Step One
- Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

- If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.

- Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ, or link to this post (it'll be public) so that the holiday joy will spread.

Step Two
- Surf around your friendslist (or friends' friends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

- If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

Alrightee. I'll make this post public, since alot of non-lj users are here, and I don't allow annonymopus comments, which I probably should... ^^;

1. The English release of L'Arc En Ciel's Smile, which has been out on the market for some time now, I've been too lazy to get out. ^^;

2. A Digital camera.

3. A subscription to Newtype Magazine.

4. A Gameboy Advanced SP. I have no idea what happened to my GBA and I lost the GS:TLA that was in it. But that's fine, just the GBASP.

5. Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, when it comes out.

6. Ys: Arc of Napishtim, when it comes out.

7. Any other plushies which are cute. Like Pikachu.^^ *Except Inu-Yasha, please. -_-*

8. Photoshop. Whatever version is fine. I just want to be able to make animated gifs, make certain areas on an image transparent, use cool fonts that don't crap up an image, etc. And one that won't kill my computer, which is reeeeally old.

9. A CD burner. So I don't have to save all these mp3s and eat up more memory on my comp.

10. And lastly, a kitty. A small, grey one. That I'll take care of, and my mother won't get all pissy over. *She's been practicly brainwashed against cats and the fact that she's so in love with maddie doesn't help much. ^^;*

As or contact info... I'm not going to put my adress up online, those who want it, ask me for it.

If anyone posts this on their lj or other blog, I can't guarantee I'll get anything on your list but I'll try. ^^;

OMG wow dinner was awesome. Everything was fabulous, be it homemade or from Publix, everything was great. ^^

As for the dinner itself- alot of pointless blathering from Kerry's parents about commercials, dogs, and the flaws of the current generation. =_=

Chelsea's locked away in her room fixated on her Gamecube, which means hopefully that she'll be leaving me alone for a while. ::crosses fingers:: XP

Except we skipped the whole "I am thankful for" thingy, which sucked, because it's so entertaining to see what people are thankful for... I no I'm weird, it's just interesting. It's also fun to guess beforehand. ^^

This year I am thankful for:

-My Mom. She r0x. And can drive really REALLY fast and make it to school on time when I decide to get up a half hour before late bell. AND stay within the speed limit. Go her.
-My Uncle Bruce for being the awesome guy he is. And cleaning up after our *cough cough -their-* messes more than once. And for making life one helluva lot easier. Because he's awesome. *And the host for thanksgiving to boot.*
-My friends, family, and loved ones. *I know, "duh", right?*
-My school, for not sucking.
-Art class, for practicly guaranteeing me a spot into Ringling since Booker and Ringling are buisness partners. ^-^
-Maddie, for keeping me company when I'm alone.
-Oxygen, food, and water. Without them, I'd be dead. ^^;
-Pikachu. ^-^

Oh yeah, Asshole gave me a cold... he's had it for weeks, but has he done anything about it? O.O And I've been around it for weeks, and I've been fine, but as soon as I leave I get it. Skippy. - -; Which reminds me, I spoke to Grandma, and she was like "Oh, I'm so glad I can talk to you! ^____^;;;"

If you wanted to talk, you could've put in a call. -__-

Jenna, Stacy, and Ali are coming in a few... Maybe we can play pool again, cuz Jenna showed me last night... I suck still, but I'm good for a beginner. ^^

Lately I've basically just been relaxing at home.. watching movies and TV and catching up with my favorite dysfunctional Los Angeles people (haha, the cast of Melrose Place ;D). I can't wait for I Love the 90's.. and of course, when American Dreams starts again (but that won't be until probably August =( ...) So yeah.

Tonight is the going-away party for Michelle at Caitlin's house =(... she's going to study at the School for Film and Television in New York for the summer. Hopefully Caitlin and I will get to visit her and Erica and go SHOPPING IN NEW YORK! :D But tonight's gonna be fun. We're thinking movies.. either going or renting.. and maybe shopping ;D heh. Though I should really think about getting money in some way. Hahaaaa me get a job?! Funny.

Heh.. the report card came today... funny stuff. Umm GOOD NEWS! I didn't fail the chemistry final! I got a B... which is pretty amusing, because it was scaled... I seriously wonder how many points she scaled it. It had to be like 50 points... because there's NO way I could've gotten a B unless it was scaled 50 points. I did well on everything else. I was pretty proud, I got a 100 on the History final ;D. Though it was pretty easy.. but you know, it made me feel good. Heh. So overall, my report card was good.

This is pretty funny. I got my Entertainment Weekly magazine today.. and they had this article about sucky remakes of classic movies. They had a top 5 worst remakes.. you know what number 2 was? Heh.. The Truth About Charlie and Sabrina (The Truth About Charlie is a remake of Charade... and Sabrina is a remake of Sabrina). So yeah.. both are Audrey Hepburn movies. Here's what they said:
"Dear Julia Ormond and Thandie Newton: Never try to channel our beloved Audrey Hepburn again. Love, EW." Hahahahaha. I love it.

So I best be going... I have to get ready to meet Caitlin at 4-ish.. and of course, I'm Katie, I take 6 hours to get ready ;D
